Artist Statement:

I am constantly inspired by people and their relationship with the world around them. How the world can shape an individual, and how an individual can, in turn, shape the world. I’m driven by the positive forces of change, activism that champions equality for minorities and women and efforts to confront climate change to protect our future. The everyday acts of people doing what they can to make the world better for everyone.

In my work, I strive to capture the incredible complexity and uniqueness of the human spirit. I’m fascinated by the idea that a single pose, glance, or gesture can express an entire story, who a person is in that precise moment. My hope is that, as a viewer, you engage with my work and extend that narrative in your own mind, building on the emotional and personal threads I aim to evoke.

I work primarily in oils and relish in the challenges of creative realism. Formerly a 3D artist in the film and game industry, my artistic pursuits have spanned decades, continually shaped by my curiosity about people and the stories they carry.
